Store Set Up and Card Processing Application

  1. After your password is set up, log into the Wayroo app.
  2. First, you will need to complete the Store Setup.
    • The first screen is Store contact information.
    • Much of the information on the Account Information screen will be pre-filled. Double-check to confirm all details are correct.
  3. Next, you will need to complete the initial setup of Shipping Rates.
    • If you only use one flat rate shipping cost, enter that amount in the “0 oz” line.
    • If you use multiple shipping rates, enter those by adding additional weight values and costs for each.
    • If you offer free shipping once a certain order amount is reached, turn on the Free Shipping option at the top of the screen, then enter the order amount that must be reached before free shipping is offered.

 Tip: At least one shipping cost has to be added in this section.

  1. Store Policies will display next. 
    • The Shipping Policy and Return Policy will be pre-filled with default information and can be changed later in Settings.

Tip: Information you will need to have ready for completing the next step is:

– Your EIN (Employee Identification Number), if you operate as a sole Proprietor, or SSN (Social Security Number), if you operate as a company

– Bank Account Information (needed for the transfer of funds)

– Credit card to pay the ProPay set up fee of $7.50

  1. Next, you will be directed to Apply for Credit Card Processing with ProPay.
    • Much of the information on the Apply for Credit Card Processing screen will be pre-filled. Double-check to confirm all details are correct.
  2. The information in the following fields can be edited prior to submitting the application:
    • About Me screen:
      • Business Email 
      • Home Address
      • Daytime Phone Number
      • Evening Phone Number
      • Date of Birth
      • Social Security Number (pre-filled with your SSN) 
      • Title (pre-filled with Owner
      • Business Ownership Percentage (pre-filled with 100%)
        • Update the field if there is more than one owner of the business
    • Business Information screen:
      • Business DBA Name
        • Tip: Enter your personal First and Last Name if you operate as a sole proprietor.
      • Federal Tax ID (EIN)
        • Tip: Enter your SSN (Social Security Number) if you operate as a sole proprietor.
      • Business Address
        • Tip: Business Address cannot be a PO Box when applying for a ProPay account.
      • Mailing Address
        • Tip: Business Address cannot be a PO Box when applying for a ProPay account.
      • Billing Address
        • Tip: Business Address cannot be a PO Box when applying for a ProPay account.
    • Estimated Sales & Customer Transactions
      • Monthly Sales Estimate – the average monthly sales volume or the highest monthly sales amount.
      • Average Expected Customer Transaction – the average individual sales
      • Largest Expected Customer Transaction  – the largest single transaction for one customer.

Optional: Before submitting the Payment Processing application, you will be asked if you would like to purchase a Card Reader. If you decide to purchase a Card Reader later, go to Settings, then Purchase a Card Reader.

Tip: For more information on how to purchase a card reader after the initial app setup is complete, go to Settings, then Purchase Card Reader.

  1. After paying for the application fee and a card reader (if selected to purchase one), your application will be reviewed.
  2. Most applications are automatically approved within a few minutes of submission.
    1. If your application is approved, you can confirm that in Settings. A Congratulations message will display at the top of the screen in Settings.
    2. If your application is not approved, you will be notified via email and given instructions to follow for completing the application. 

Tip: The two most common reasons that a ProPay application is not approved are:

– Identity check fail – email subject line ProPay Merchant Account Status Update

– Trouble processing payment for a sign-up fee – email subject line ProPay Account Payment Unsuccessful
