Connect to PayPal

To offer PayPal as a payment option to your customers, you need to connect your Wayroo app to your PayPal account. You have two options for doing this, both of which can be completed directly within the app.

  1. Open Settings: From the main menu, navigate to the Settings section.
  2. Access Add-Ons: Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen until you find the “Add-Ons” section.
  3. Select PayPal: Tap on the PayPal option.
  4. Log In or Create a New Account:
    1. Existing PayPal Account: If you already have a PayPal account, simply log in using your credentials.
    2. New PayPal Account: If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can create one directly within the app.

Once your PayPal account is connected to Wayroo, your customers will see PayPal as a payment option during online checkout and in Wayroo invoices.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If you happen to experience any issues with connecting your PayPal account to the app, log into your PayPal account in a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari, and check to see if your account has been verified. You will see a message on the home screen that will indicate if your account is not yet verified. Follow the steps to finish verifying your account. This typically happens within a few moments of completing your account setup, however, this may take 2-3 days, or up to 7 days.

If you continue to run into any issues, please contact PayPal customer support. (See PayPal resources at the bottom of this article.)
