Quick Start Guide

This Quick Start guide will have you set up and ready to start processing transactions with 3 easy steps, in 10 minutes or less! While you can start creating orders once these steps are complete, we encourage you to check out the Complete Setup Guide so you can customize the way you run your business!

Step 1: Download the app

The Wayroo app is available for download on any iOS or Android mobile device. 

Step 2: First-time login

Once the app is installed to your device, open the app and click on Sign In to do a first-time password setup.

  • Select the Forgot your password option and enter your email address.

Note: Please be sure to enter the same email you use to log into the Back Office of your Direct Sales Company.

  • After entering your email address, select Send Email and check your email for a password reset link.

💡 Tip: Check your spam folder if the email does not appear in your inbox.

  • Follow the instructions listed in the email.

Notes:

  • Your account information is synced with your Direct Sales company, with the exception of your password. 
  • While your email address is the same, resetting your password for the app will NOT reset your password for your Back Office.
  • You can either use the same password as your Back Office password, or create a new one for the app.
  • The new password must contain:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least one digit (‘0’-’9’)
    • At least one uppercase letter (’A’-’Z’)
  • Once you’ve successfully completed the instructions in the email, return to the app and log in with your new password.

Step 3: Merchant Account Setup – Sign up for ProPay

Before you start:

  • If you operate your business as a registered LLC, a private company or a partnership, you will need to provide your EIN Number if applicable (not needed for Individual/Sole Proprietorships).
  • You will need to know your bank account number and routing number for the account you would like to have funds sent to if needed.
  • You will also need a payment method for:
    • The ONE-TIME setup fee of $7.50
    • Optional: purchasing a card reader.

Begin your application:

Follow the prompts on the screen to set up your ProPay Merchant Account so you can begin accepting payments and processing transactions!

Page 1. Business Information

Business Name, email, phone number and address are auto-filled with the information you have on file with your Back Office.

  • Business Name (DBA Name) – You can edit this if you wish.
    • This will be displayed on your online store, invoices, receipts and your customers’ credit card statements.
    • Example: “Jane Smith” will appear as “Jane Smith’s Online Store”
  • Business Email 
  • Business Phone Number
  • Business Address
    • Cannot be a P.O. Box.
    • If you operate your business out of your home, enter your home address here.
  • Business Type
    • If you select Limited Liability Company (LLC), Private Company or Partnership, you will also need to enter your Business Legal Name and Federal Tax ID (EIN).

Note: Your Business Legal Name must be entered EXACTLY as it is registered with the IRS.

Page 2. Start Accepting Payments

Enter your Legal Name (Middle Name optional), Social Security Number (or ITIN), and Phone Number(s).

Note: If your Home Address is different from your Business Address, you can toggle off and enter your Home Address.

Page 3: Banking Information

Provide the banking information for the account where you’d like your funds to be transferred.

Page 4: Reviewing Fees and Payments Terms

  • Here you will see the Account Setup Fee – this is a ONE-TIME ProPay setup fee due upon submission of this ProPay application. 
  • You will also see your ongoing Processing Fees – these are NOT fees that are due at this time. These are listed here to inform you of the processing fees that will be applied to each type of transaction that takes place in your account.
  • To move forward, review and accept the terms and conditions at the bottom of this screen.

Page 5: Credit Card Reader

Here you can choose whether you want to purchase a ProPay card reader. While you have the option to skip this purchase, having this card reader will make in-person checkout much faster with a lower transaction fee.

Page 6: Summary

Review your order summary, confirm your billing address and continue to payment.

✅ Once you’re approved with ProPay, you can start selling!

Note: You do NOT have to have any inventory added to the app to create your first order!
